Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Relay, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use Relay on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Relay is a publishing platform that lets you create, schedule, and distribute content. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce the service's core functionality.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 16 years old to use Relay.

You retain ownership of the content you publish through Relay. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and transmit that content solely to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful and does not infringe the rights of others.

When you connect an Instagram or TikTok account, you authorize Relay to publish the content you create or schedule to that account, at the time you choose, with the settings you choose (for TikTok: who can view the post, whether comments, duets and stitches are allowed, and any commercial content disclosure). Relay publishes only on your instruction — through the dashboard, the mobile app, or an API key or agent you have authorized.

Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms. For TikTok that includes TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Music Usage Confirmation and, for branded content, Branded Content Policy; for Instagram, Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. You are responsible for disclosing promotional content as those platforms require. Relay does not add watermarks or branding to your content. You can disconnect an account at any time in Relay or from the platform's own app settings.

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access accounts or systems you are not authorized to access, distributing malware or spam, or publishing content that is illegal, deceptive, or harassing. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You may stop using Relay and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (such as content ownership and liability limits) remain in effect.

Relay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use of Relay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
